Building on the legendary LINTON that has captivated listeners since 2019, the SUPER LINTON brings deeper bass, more detailed treble, and a finely tuned midrange that deliver an authentic, engaging sound experience.
Advanced Cabinet Construction
Engineered to reduce resonance, the SUPER LINTON cabinet incorporates a dual-layer MDF structure with latex-based damping glue. Standing 4cm taller than the original, this increased internal volume allows for greater bass impact and acoustic clarity, elevating the music with each note.
Enhanced Bass Driver
Wharfedale’s engineers upgraded the bass driver with a more powerful motor system, increasing magnet strength for a deep, dynamic low-frequency response down to 32Hz. The result is a dramatic, controlled bass that enhances every listening experience.
Refined Treble Unit
Borrowing technology from the flagship Dovedale, the SUPER LINTON’s treble driver features a 25mm fabric dome with a ceramic magnet motor system. Enhanced by a new front plate design, the high frequencies offer smooth dispersion and natural integration into the upper midrange, bringing unparalleled detail and harmony.
Dedicated Midrange Chamber
The midrange driver, with its woven Kevlar cone, sits in its own cylindrical chamber filled with long-hair fiber to absorb back waves. This design enriches vocals and instruments, delivering clear, lifelike tones with enhanced scale and expression.
Optimized Crossover Network
The crossover, split into two circuit boards to reduce interference, integrates specialized inductors and capacitors for clarity across frequencies. The SUPER LINTON’s crossover enhances signal flow, delivering transparency and cohesion in every note.
